Surface observations near the time of flight reported temperatures near 52 °F with a dew point near 16 °F, indicating dry air and low relative humidity. Surface winds were from the southeast around 10–12 knots. Visibility was 10 statute miles, with few to scattered high clouds and no precipitation observed. The altimeter setting was approximately 30.12 inHg. No weather-related hazards or operational limitations were identified during the preflight weather assessment.
